Refund policy
All products are designed from stock / unmodified vehicles, as supplied by the car manufacturer. Due to the complexity and variety of modifications possible, it is up to the purchaser to determine if the part is compatible with his/her application. If you have any questions about product fitment, please reach out to info@streetaero.com.
Street Aero is not responsible for any labor charges or installation fees for any reason. Street Aero is also not responsible for improper installation, incidental and consequential damages, property damage, personal injury damages, labor costs, transportation or other incidental or consequential charges; or storage or rental-car charges.
INSPECT PARTS UPON ARRIVAL
While we strive to ensure accuracy of all orders that are shipped, in extremely rare occasions boxes are mislabeled and/or wrong parts are shipped. Once you have received your order, please check the parts for accuracy prior to starting your installation.
**CUSTOM ENGRAVING DISCLAIMER**
All custom engraving orders are final sale and are engraved EXACTLY how the text is typed in your order. This means text is case sensitive, and any symbols such as "@" logos for social media handles must be added. Emojis are not recommended due to the laser engraving process, and returns/refunds will not be accepted if emojis do not come out as planned. Please triple check all spelling before finalizing order.
Shipping Lead Time
Please keep in mind that with our Black Friday Sale the production time for Front Splitters, Side Splitters and Rear Diffusers should be shipped within 10-20 business days. All other items should be shipped within 1-5 business days.
Lead time for products will vary and no lead time can be guaranteed.
Out of stock items ordered will be shipped as soon as our manufacturing schedule permits (estimated 10-15 business days from purchase).
Please also keep in mind that because we are a manufacturer, and while it is rare, there could potentially be instances where one of our machines encounters technical issues causing a delay in our schedule/production process.
Delivery
Free shipping is offered for all item(s) being shipped to a physical address within the 48 continental United States. This offer excludes shipments going to all other states, US territories, and PO/APO/FPO addresses.
We utilize multiple carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and USPS. We cannot guarantee the shipping company used to deliver your products. Your order may be shipped in multiple boxes from different carriers. Carrier choice is based upon availability and needs of the customer and is the sole discretion of Street Aero.
All aero products are too large to ship to P.O. boxes. We strongly recommend that you provide a physical delivery address to avoid delays, delivery issues, or additional charges.
While the shipping fee is included in prices, this fee does not include any ancillary services that may be added by the carrier as a result of special requests. Any of the following may result in an additional cost to you: inside or limited access delivery, redelivery due to a missed appointment, address corrections.
If an item is hand delivered and is damaged, please only write the word "damaged" on the delivery bill as it could affect the outcome of the claim decision made by the shipping company. (see Damaged Shipments below for more information)
Street Aero is responsible for handing off shipments to our carriers. Once our carriers complete the delivery at the provided delivery address, the responsibility of the package transfers to the customer.
Billing / Shipping Addresses
For any item(s) shipping to an alternate address (not billing address of payment type used) or for any orders that are flagged by our fraud-detection software, we may require the card holder to provide verification to authorize the shipment.
APO / PO Box Shipments
Please be aware that the United States Postal Service (USPS) has size restrictions on shipments going to APO’s and PO boxes.
If a package is deemed undeliverable by a carrier that cannot deliver parcels to your post office box or APO the buyer will be responsible for the charges and fees associated with the shipment.
International Shipping
International shipping is available to various countries (please see our international shipping page to see if we offer shipping to you).
If we do not offer shipping to you, send us an email and we will put your country's market on our list to open.
At this time carrier pick-ups for international shipment are on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s.
ALL shipping charges, duties, customs charges, and brokerage fees are calculated in full at checkout and are pre-paid for your convinience. You will not have to pay on delivery to receive your shipment.
Damaged Shipments
Once a tracking number reaches delivery status at the location provided for the order, Street Aero is no longer responsible for the shipment wearabouts.
If a product is damaged in transit, was not inspected at delivery or noted as “damaged” on the delivery bill, we will be unable to assist you beyond that point. If a customer signs their name on the bill of laden, the shipping company will not allow us to submit a claim on your behalf.
All damages from shipping must be reported to info@streetaero.com within 1-2 business days from the tracking number delivery confirmation date to ensure we are within the allowable time frame of a claim submission with the carrier. After two days, damages become the responsibility of the customer.
If you receive a damaged item, please email info@streetaero.com your order number, and a description of the problem with multiple photos highlighting the damage.
DO NOT return a damaged shipment unless specified by one of our team members.
After a claim has been filed, the carrier will contact you to investigate the damage. If the carrier is not able to investigate the package, the claim will be denied and we will be unable to assist further or provide a replacement.
In order to fully process a damage claim, all original products and packaging materials must be provided. Street Aero is not liable for damage claims that are denied due to customer negligence.
By purchasing, you agree that you will inspect the item at delivery and fully understand that if you do not inspect the item at delivery and unbox it at a later time to find concealed damage that you waive all rights to file a damage claim on the delivery insurance. You also fully understand that a damaged item cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances.
Lost Shipments
Our responsibility is to prepare your order and to hand it off to the shipping carrier. There are instances when the carrier misplaces the package or loses it entirely. In the event this happens, we will gladly open up a claim. Claims can take anywhere from 2-3 weeks for the shipping company to investigate the claim. During this time, the carrier will reach out to you about the shipment. You must speak with them or they will deny the claim.
We can not issue refunds or reshipments on lost packages until the shipping company confirms the package is lost as they may have misplaced it and are still able to deliver it. We will work with our customer and the shipping company to find a resolution.
Lost package claims must be reported within 14 days of expected delivery date or we are unable to help.
Stolen Shipments
While we take all necessary precautions to ensure safe delivery, we are not responsible for packages that are marked as delivered by the shipping carrier but are subsequently stolen.
Our responsibility is to prepare your order and to hand it off to the shipping carrier. Once a package is marked delivered by the carrier at the provided address, the responsibility of the package transfers to the customer. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after they have been delivered successfully.
All orders receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to do their due diligence and monitor their shipment progress until delivery has been successfully completed. All shipments with tracking information will include a proof of delivery photo to document where the shipment was left.
In cases where customers claim they did not receive a package marked as delivered, we will investigate the matter with the shipping carrier. We may request additional information from the customer, such as photos or video surveillance footage, to verify the claim. If the investigation confirms that the package was delivered to the correct address, we are unable to offer a replacement or refund.
Please note, if tracking does show delivered, a Police report may be required before a potential replacement item or refund is released.
Insurance
Shipping prices do not include insurance. If you’d like to add insurance to your order, please email us prior to placing your order. Please be aware that we are not responsible for any lost, late, stolen, or damaged items and Street Aero must have a claim completed with the carrier before you can be refunded or before a replacement can be shipped.
If your claim is denied, you will be responsible for placing a new order.
Refused Shipments
If you refuse delivery for any shipment (except refusing due to damage), it will be treated as a return and charged the full restocking fee.
Received Incorrect Item(s)
In the event that the product you ordered is sent either incorrectly or wrongly processed by Street Aero, we will arrange for the package to come back to us and ship out a replacement.
We will need to evaluate the situation before determining the shipment was incorrect.
Returns
ALL FRONT SPLITTER SALES ARE FINAL
Due to the continuous 0% return success rate, we are not able to accept front splitter returns or exchanges unless you are a local customer that does not require carrier shipping services.
ALL CUSTOM ORDERS ARE FINAL
Any item ordered with a variation from it's original form such as fins/winglets custom engraving, etc.. can not be returned due to it being altered from it's original state. Custom orders also include misc/replacement parts.
Our return policy is valid for 20 days following the tracking numbers delivery date.
To be eligible for a return, your item must remain sealed in its original plastic packaging and be returned in its entirety. Once the plastic has been opened, the product has been installed/modified/altered or has physical impurities, the product will not be eligible for a return.
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be refunded.
If the item cannot be resold, we cannot accept a return.
All accepted refunds will require a 20% restocking fee to cover initial shipping charges, however, the refunded amount will be determined upon the item being returned and inspected.
Initial shipping fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from refunds.
If returns coverage was purchased at time of checkout and the item is not a Front Splitter or Custom then return shipping will be covered. Otherwise, customer is responsible for return shipping.
These rules also apply for accepted exchanges.
Exchanges
Please be sure to test fit all products in the plastic packaging by holding the piece up to the desired mounting location.
If a product has been modified, installed, or altered, we will not accept it as an exchange.
Cancellations
Orders must be canceled within 24 hours to receive a full refund, any order canceled after 24 hours will require a 20% restocking fee.
Unfortunately once an order has been shipped restocking fees will apply if they are applicable.
Refunds
Applicable refunds for returns will be held until the accepted order has been returned in its entirety. This includes hardware, decals, and instructions.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Street Aero does not refund shipping charges. These fees will be deducted from your refund.
Please allow 2-3 business days after receiving notification of your refund for the amount to be posted back to your account.
Billing
Upon checkout, your preferred method of payment account will be pre-authorized and/or charged regardless of the item being in or out of stock. If your payment was declined, you may still see a pending charge on your account due to the pre-authorization process with the payment method. The declined pre-authorization does take 2-3 business days to clear depending on the payment method used.
Billing addresses that do not match that which is registered with the payment method used to place the order may cause delays.
Sale Items
Only regular priced items are applicable for refunds, unfortunately sale items that used a discount code cannot be refunded.
